After install, if the AVI chunker window pops up when you play a video, just check the option "Do not show this window again".

Any Feedback?

Since I got no feedback regarding the test files I shared at Box.Net, I would assume that either (a) there's no problem downloading or playing the files; or (b) nobody is interested to download the files. I guess in this age of youtube, xtube o kahit ano pang tubo, it's not too hard to find vidz anymore haha. But anyway, this blog will continue, and for those who are really interested drop me an email and maybe we can share privately thru ftp or something.

For those running blogs with similar or related topic, and want to be linked from my blog, drop me an email too. I hope it will help a little to get traffic to your blog. Just don't send me link to your personal blog where you only talk about yourself, your dog, your grandma or your special collection of batman comics.

Computer Downtime

For those who tried to download Pinoy Kamasutra video last night, and was unable to do so, the reason was I turned off my computer. Generally, my computer is on as long as I am awake - which is usually from 9am to 2am, Manila time. So, just try again.

For our kababayans abroad, you can quickly see Manila time in the sidebar.

I have just signed up for free account with Box.net. They are offering 1GB space for free file storage that can be shared. I want to try this out... if this prove to be a great way to share files, then I will pay for an account that offers bigger disk space (10GB). I am still organizing (read "restoring from backups") the vidz, but I will upload some files there later for download. So, do come back (at around 8pm) for an update.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for more comments.

Where Are The Vidz?

Please be patient... I am still in the process of finding out the best way to share files. Should we go to IRC again? How about Box.net - anyone have experience using that? If anyone have any suggestion, please leave a comment.

I am also in the process of setting up a website to put up the preview images.

Good News: Pinoyvidz is Back!

Hello to all. Yes, Pinoyvidz is back!

To all those who are not familiar with us, Pinoyvidz started as a channel in IRC around 2001 where a small group of pinoys come to share video clips of sexy pinoy movies. We started in Undernet then moved to Dalnet, then Phazenet and eventually to UAAP. During that time, we also grew, from sharing small video clips to sharing entire movies and other files like mp3's, ebooks, warez, games, etc. And the number of vidz also grew into tons of gigabytes. Eventually, the original founders got tired of serving and disappear one by one. Well, that's our short history. Now, yours truly, Kulas, is trying to resurrect the group. And your support will be very much appreciated. So keep coming back to my blog to read the latest news.

By the way, there is now a pinoyvidz.com website. Not that I mind them using the name (its my fault I didn't registered it)... just letting you know that I am not, in any way, affiliated with that site.

And for those who are still coming to our yahoo group, thanks a lot for your patience. You will be rewarded soon :P
